Thoughts of you follow me every day
In many a moment I see you smile

Imagining you beside me all the while
A breath of wind against my skin
Becomes you tenderly caressing my cheek

Raindrops splashing off my lips
You gently claiming my mouth
With a tender yet passion-filled kiss

You ignite an inferno in my blood
My body overcome by passion's flood
Anchored in the shelter of your embrace
I feel a love I did once chase
