Sands through the hourglass will surely pass And a love like ours will forever last Though memories may dim with time Forever shall you reside in this heart of mine Lessons learned and pages turned From whence they came Now returned Misty eyes and final goodbyes Still my heart silently cries Looking up at the night sky Your smiling face remains in my mind’s eye
